Sadly, I got sidetracked from posting here very often. I’ve just started putting stuff up on my other tumblr again though so maybe I’ll post something new here at some point… The other stuff I’ve been posting is shorter as far as words go, making it kind of easier to keep up (I s’pose). I am speedily enamoured. But I’m a fickle lover, apt to move on just as quickly. Still I usually keep a warm corner of my heart, a keen spot in my field of interest, for those things I’ve loved before. And it’s kind of nice to keep track of them this way. To share them. I like the almost impersonal nature of blogs and tumblr. So many people saying things without being sure if they’ll actually be heard. Maybe it’s the recording that’s more important anyway. But I’m getting off topic…
Bitch Prefect. That’s who my latest bedmate is. Or should that be ‘bedmates are’? They’re a lovely trio who I’ve never actually seen live, despite the numerous times they’ve played at things that I’ve been (oh, big whoop) Facebook-ly invited to. But they released a 7 inch EP a couple of months ago. I’ve been listening to the songs from it a lot over the past 24 hours and have made a firm committment (to myself) to hunt it out at Clarity Records before I go to work tomorrow. Time will pass more sweetly with the knowledge that their delicious sounds are waiting for me in the storeroom.
